Society should NEVER accept it, and pedophiles deserve to be hung from the nearest trees. But there has been such a huge push to push pedophilia from the church that there is no way any if this could be seen as an accident. If it was only a few priests doing this, I'd understand as anything as large as a church system is going to end up with a few sick, evil, deranged people. But for so many cases to have come to light (and those are only the ones we know about!), and that churches PROTECT these priests even when their actions become known, the only logical explaination is that churches are actively trying to push the agendas of sick bastards like NAMBLA on the general public.
